The most important thing is that golfers are taking care of the course, and we want to cater to all players. That's why we designed the Tanto Mini, for golfers who prefer to keep the divot tool in their pocket while hardly noticing it's there.
We carefully select the high tension springs so that they open strongly, every time. Tanto’s are not the cheap $10 tools found at your local pro shop or online.
A lot of people are surprised to see a $55 divot repair tool, and yes, we could make them cheaper. But then they would be cheap. Each grip on a Tanto is individually CNC milled which takes SIGNIFICANTLY longer to manufacture compared to plastic injection. G10 composite, due to it's strength, cannot be injection moulded, and each must be individually crafted. We are very proud of that, and stand by the quality.
THE NEW MINI IS HERE! After a lot of feedback from customers, we decided to make a model that was smaller, and had no belt clip.

While the photo online looked good, I’m very disappointed in the quality. The divot too doesn’t fully open when the release button is pressed and the magnet fell out of the the ball marker section on the first use.
Love the weight and quality but would prefer it have a belt clip!

I received the mini repair tool as a replacement for the full size one which last about 3 years. I wanted to buy that one, but apparently it isn’t for sale anymore. When I received the mini, the magnet holding the ball marker kept falling out. The mechanism isn’t good either as it keeps getting stuck about 3/4 of the way.
Great quality with very strong action, rivals my EDC knife.
